About Our Beef

Jami Steeg was raised on a small farm south of Jackson, Missouri, where her playmates and best friends were the animals that surrounded her.  

She had a special love for the horses which led to her going on the Eminence Trail Rides every year since when she was young. She had a variety of dogs that were her constant companions and even a few chickens that she carried all around the farm.  

As she grew older she started showing cattle and enjoyed barrel racing when she could.  Her appreciation of being around animals led to her working at a dairy farm. 

Today as a breeder of naturally raised angus and angus-cross beef at Sunny Ridge Farms she is proud of her gentle cows and has many dedicated customers who enjoy the sweet tender meat that her beef produces.  

Jami has a great respect for nature and all efforts to protect the environment.
